New York High School Basketball - West Seneca East knocked off by Iroquois
January 4, 2023: West Seneca, NY 14224 The Iroquois Chiefs basketball team scored 63 points and held the host West Seneca East Trojans to 43 in the Chiefs league triumph on Wednesday.
The Chiefs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Starpoint for a Section 6 Erie County II contest on Saturday, January 7. Iroquois will battle a Spartans team coming off a 68-37 league loss to Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.
The Trojans (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY). The Billies enter the Section 6 Erie County II contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Williamsville South ran past Sweet Home (Amherst, NY), 66-25, in a league contest.
