Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Iroquois Chiefs (Elma, NY), 77-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Amherst Central upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Tigers host West Seneca East (West Seneca, NY) to clash with the Trojans in a Section 6 Erie County II bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-13. West Seneca East won 62-54 in their recent league bout against Sweet Home (Amherst, NY)

Next up, the Chiefs clash with the Williamsville South Billies (Williamsville, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County II bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Iroquois will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Billies go into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 88-87 league win over Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY).
