North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Pleasant fells South Rowan
January 4, 2023: China Grove, NC 28023 Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), 86-75 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mount Pleasant upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Tigers host Concord (Concord, NC) to clash with the Spiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Spiders go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Concord won 83-32 in their recent league bout against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)
Next up, the Raiders clash with the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) in a 3A Conference 48 bout, on Friday, January 6. South Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Spiders go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 57-47 non-league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
