In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Eastside Eagles basketball team scored a tight 69-64 triumph over the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 5. Eastside will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 10-6 record after their 65-61 non-league win over Greenwood (Greenwood, SC).
