Oklahoma High School Basketball - Sterling overwhelms Geronimo
January 4, 2024: Geronimo, OK 73543 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sterling Tigers (Sterling, OK) and the host Geronimo Blue Jays (Geronimo, OK), saw Sterling's basketball squad wallop Geronimo by a tally of 68-37.
With the victory, Sterling improves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Carnegie (Carnegie, OK) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Carnegie won 70-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Temple (Temple, OK)
Next up, the Blue Jays confront the Ryan Cowboys (Ryan, OK) in a Southern Eight challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Geronimo will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 74-46 non-league loss to Thackerville (Thackerville, OK).
