Florida High School Basketball - Hope Academy falls to South Lake

January 4, 2024: Groveland, FL 34736

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting South Lake Eagles basketball team scored a good 58-48 triumph over the Hope Academy Trojan Tigers.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Foundation Academy Lions (Winter Garden, FL) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 5. South Lake will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 10-5 record after their 86-43 non-league win over Lake Mary Prep (Lake Mary, FL).

With the defeat, Hope Academy moves to 14-5 on the year. The Trojan tigers host Montverde Academy Regional (Montverde, FL) to meet the Eagle in a non-league match on Friday, January 5. The Eagle enter the match with a record of 4-5. Montverde Academy Regional won 77-76 in their recent non-league match against Life Christian Academy (Kissimmee, FL)
