January 4, 2024: Durham, NC 27712 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) and the host Northern Durham Knights (Durham, NC), saw Person's basketball squad wallop Northern Durham by a tally of 69-38.
With the victory, Person improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Rockets host Southern Alamance (Graham, NC) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Southern Alamance won 37-31 in their recent league challenge against Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC)
Next up, the Knights confront the East Chapel Hill Wildcats (Chapel Hill, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Northern Durham will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
