Idaho High School Basketball - Declo overwhelms Melba
January 4, 2025: Declo, ID 83323 The Declo Hornets basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Melba Mustangs to 25 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hornets now have a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Buhl for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Declo will confront a Indians team coming off a 66-58 non-league loss to Fruitland (Fruitland, ID). The Indians record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Melba falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Marsing (Marsing, ID) to confront the Huskies in a 3A Western Idaho game on Tuesday, January 7. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 6-3. Marsing won 81-69 in their recent league game against Parma (Parma, ID)
