The Covington Buccs basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Riverside Pirates to 37 in the Buccs league triumph on Saturday.

The Buccs now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Troy for a non-league game on Monday, January 6. Covington will confront a Trojans team coming off a 46-30 league loss to Fairborn (Fairborn, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Riverside falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Milton-Union (West Milton, OH) to confront the Bulldogs in a Three Rivers game on Thursday, January 9.
