Georgia High School Basketball - Portal victorious over Emanuel County Institute

In Saturday's league contest, the host Portal Panthers basketball team scored a good 34-26 triumph over the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs.

The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Metter (Metter, GA). The Tigers go into the A D2 Region 3 contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Metter topped McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA), 67-66, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 contest, on Thursday, January 9. Emanuel County Institute will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record.
