Georgia High School Basketball - Screven County triumphant over Emanuel County Institute
December 13, 2024: Twin City, GA 30471 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) and the host Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA), observed Screven County's basketball team overwhelm Emanuel County Institute by a margin of 64-36.
The Gamecocks (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bryan County (Pembroke, GA). The Redskins come into the A D2 Region 3 challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Bryan County trounced Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA), 45-37, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Emanuel County Institute will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 80-14 non-league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, GA).
