Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Morton Potters (Morton, IL), 52-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lincoln upgrades its record to 8-6 on the year. The Railsplitters travel to Limestone (Bartonville, IL) to face the Rockets in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Rockets enter the match with a record of 7-7. Limestone lost 65-46 in their recent non-league match against Lake Central (St. John, IN)

The Potters now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Peoria for a Mid-Illini match on Tuesday, January 7. Morton will face a Raiders squad coming off a 60-55 non-league loss to Richwoods (Peoria, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 10-8.
