February 1, 2025: Morton, IL 61550 Morton Potters (Morton, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL), 61-49 in a league match.
With the victory, Morton advances its record to 21-4 on the year. The Potters host East Peoria (East Peoria, IL) to face the Raiders in a Mid-Illini match on Tuesday, February 4. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 13-14. East Peoria lost 67-41 in their recent league match against Washington (Washington, IL)
The Rockets now own a 12-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Metamora for a Mid-Illini match on Tuesday, February 4. Limestone will face a Redbirds squad coming off a 51-43 league win over Pekin (Pekin, IL). The Redbirds record now stands at 15-12.
