The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Washington Eagles (Houston, TX) and the visiting Sterling Raiders (Houston, TX), observed Washington's basketball team edge Sterling by a score of 38-36.

The Eagles (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Northside (Houston, TX). The Panthers come into the 4A Region III District 20 challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Northside edged North Forest (Houston, TX), 36-29, in a league challenge.
