Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Narragansett knocks off West Warwick
January 4, 2025: Narragansett, RI 02882 The Narragansett Mariners ice hockey team scored 9 points and held the visiting West Warwick Wizards to 6 in the Mariners league victory on Saturday.
The Mariners now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coventry for a Division 2 bout on Friday, January 10. Narragansett will encounter a Oakers team coming off a 7-5 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Oakers record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, West Warwick moves to 1-6 on the season. The Wizards host North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to encounter the Skippers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. The Skippers go into the bout with a record of 3-3. North Kingstown lost 4-1 in their recent non-league bout against St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI)
