The Armada Tigers (Armada, MI) basketball nipped the host Almont Raiders (Almont, MI), 48-47 in Thursday's league test.

The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Algonac (Algonac, MI). The Muskrats go into the Blue Water Area test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Algonac was tipped by North Branch (North Branch, MI), 64-41, in a league test.

The Raiders now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Croswell-Lexington for a Blue Water Area test on Tuesday, January 10. Almont will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 67-52 league win over Yale (Yale, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-2.
