Maine High School Basketball - Mt. Ararat tops Biddeford
January 5, 2023: Topsham, ME 04086 Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME), 48-37 in a league bout.
With the victory, Mt. Ararat upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 8-1. Medomak Valley won 64-58 in their recent league battle against Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME)
The Tigers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Dragons come into the A South battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Brunswick beat Morse (Bath, ME), 51-42, in a league battle.
