Michigan High School Basketball - Rudyard nips Cedarville
January 5, 2023: Rudyard, MI 49780 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Rudyard Bulldogs (Rudyard, MI) and the visiting Cedarville Trojans (Cedarville, MI), saw Rudyard's basketball squad hold off Cedarville by a tally of 58-53.
With the victory, Rudyard improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI) to play the Chiefs in a Straits Area challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Cheboygan lost 60-33 in their recent league challenge against Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI)
Next up, the Trojans play the Pickford Panthers (Pickford, MI) in a Eastern Upper Peninsula challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Cedarville will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
