January 5, 2023: Singer, LA 70660 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Singer Hornets (Singer, LA) and the visiting Hathaway Hornets (Jennings, LA), saw Singer's basketball squad wallop Hathaway by a tally of 81-50.
With the victory, Singer improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA) to confront the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Sam Houston lost 52-50 in their recent non-league challenge against LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA)
Next up, the Hornets confront the JS Clark Leadership Academy Bulldogs (Opelousas, LA) in a B District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Hathaway will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 50-35 non-league loss to Avoyelles Charter (Mansura, LA).
