Louisiana High School Basketball - Lacassine trounces Hathaway
January 17, 2023: Jennings, LA 70546 The Lacassine Cardinals (Lacassine, LA) basketball crushed the host Hathaway Hornets (Jennings, LA), 87-41 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cardinals (16-9) will now prepare for their test against Midland (Midland, LA). The Rebels go into the B District 6 test with a 8-16 record. In their last test, Midland was trounced by JS Clark Leadership Academy (Opelousas, LA), 66-39, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Episcopal of Acadiana for a B District 6 test on Friday, January 20. Hathaway will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 58-47 league win over Bell City (Bell City, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 11-11.
