South Dakota High School Basketball - Riggs knocked off by Lincoln
January 5, 2023: Sioux Falls, SD 57105 The Lincoln Patriots basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Riggs Governors to 62 in the Patriots league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aberdeen Central for a AA contest on Saturday, January 7. Lincoln will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 79-39 league loss to Washington (Sioux Falls, SD). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
The Governors (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Sioux Falls, SD). The Warriors enter the AA contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Washington ran past Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD), 79-39, in a league contest.
