South Dakota High School Basketball - Roosevelt can't hold off Riggs
February 24, 2023: Pierre, SD 57501 The Riggs Governors basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders to 63 in the Governors league triumph on Friday.
The Governors now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a AA contest on Monday, February 27. Riggs will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 86-47 league win over Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 18-1.
The Rough Riders (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD). The Golden Eagles enter the AA contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Aberdeen Central was nudged by Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD), 86-47, in a league contest.
