In Thursday's league outing, the Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Panther Valley Panthers (Lansford, PA), by a count of 65-50.

The Crimson Tide (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Blue Mountain (Schuylkill Haven, PA). The Eagles go into the Schuylkill County 1 outing with a 9-1 record. In their last outing, Blue Mountain was topped by Governor Mifflin (Shillington, PA), 82-71, in a non-league outing.
