Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) and the visiting Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), saw Towns County's basketball squad wallop Andrews by a tally of 71-16.

With the victory, Towns County improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Warren County (Warrenton, GA) to confront the Screaming Devils in a A D2 Region 8B challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Screaming Devils come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Warren County lost 64-55 in their recent league challenge against Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC) in a 1A Conference 43 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Andrews will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 81-14 non-league loss to Rosman (Rosman, NC).
