January 5, 2023: Sinclairville, NY 14782 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Portville Panthers (Portville, NY) and the host Cassadaga Valley Cougars (Sinclairville, NY), saw Portville's basketball squad overcome Cassadaga Valley by a tally of 55-39.
With the victory, Portville improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Frewsburg (Frewsburg, NY) to confront the Bears in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - East I challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Frewsburg lost 48-40 in their recent league challenge against Falconer (Falconer, NY)
