The Myers Park Mustangs basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Ardrey Kell Knights to 38 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Olympic for a 4A South Meck contest on Tuesday, January 9. Myers Park will battle a Trojans team coming off a 71-55 league loss to Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-12.

The Knights (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres enter the 4A South Meck contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, South Mecklenburg was defeated by Richmond (Rockingham, NC), 94-91, in a non-league contest.
