Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA), 67-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Twin Springs upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Titans host Eastside (Coeburn, VA) to clash with the Spartans in a Cumberland bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Eastside won 54-53 in their recent league bout against Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA)

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA) in a Cumberland bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Castlewood will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 46-34 league win over J.I. Burton (Norton, VA).
