January 5, 2024: Cherry Valley, AR 72324 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ridgefield Christian Warriors (Jonesboro, AR) and the host Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR), saw Ridgefield Christian's basketball squad overcome Cross County by a tally of 60-48.
With the victory, Ridgefield Christian improves its record to 7-14 on the campaign. The Warriors host Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR) to confront the Bears in a 1A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 17-6. Mammoth Spring lost 67-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR)
Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs (Monette, AR) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Cross County will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 57-51 league loss to Riverside (Lake City, AR).
