With the victory, Franklin improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Coronado (El Paso, TX) to confront the Thunderbirds in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 6-13. Coronado lost 46-39 in their recent league challenge against Montwood (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Aztecs confront the Eastlake Falcons (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. El Dorado will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 13-11 record after their 57-53 league win over Eastwood (El Paso, TX).
