Idaho High School Basketball - West Side thwarts Firth
January 5, 2024: Dayton, ID 83232 The West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID) basketball knocked off the visiting Firth Cougars (Firth, ID), 64-49 in Friday's non-league test.
The Pirates (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID). The Bears go into the 2A South East Idaho test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Bear Lake went down by Snake River (Blackfoot, ID), 57-25, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ririe for a 2A Nuclear test on Thursday, January 11.
