Idaho High School Basketball - Malad nips West Side
February 6, 2024: Malad, ID 83252 Malad Dragons (Malad, ID) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID), 63-62 in a league bout.
With the win, Malad upgrades its record to 5-15 on the season. The Dragons travel to Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID) to play the Bears in a 2A South East Idaho bout on Thursday, February 8. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Bear Lake won 59-41 in their recent league bout against Aberdeen (Aberdeen, ID)
Next up, the Pirates play the Soda Springs Cardinals (Soda Springs, ID) in a 2A South East Idaho bout, on Thursday, February 8. West Side will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record. The Cardinals enter the game with a 10-8 record after their 50-31 league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, ID).
