Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oneonta Redskins (Oneonta, AL), 59-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Locust Fork upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Cold Springs (Bremen, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a 2A Area 11 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-14. Cold Springs won 64-28 in their recent league bout against Cleveland (Cleveland, AL)
