Trinity Christian Trojans (Addison, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Parish Episcopal Panthers (Dallas, TX), 54-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Trinity Christian upgrades its record to 16-9 on the season. The Trojans host Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 6A District 1 bout on Friday, January 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Prestonwood Christian won 81-42 in their recent league bout against Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX) in a TAPPS 6A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Parish Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 18-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 18-5 record after their 70-43 non-league loss to Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ).
