Washington High School Basketball - Zillah crushes Royal
January 5, 2024: Royal City, WA 99357 Zillah Leopards (Zillah, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Royal Knights (Royal City, WA), 79-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Zillah upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Leopards host Connell (Connell, WA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Connell lost 43-38 in their recent league bout against Kiona-Benton (Benton City, WA)
Next up, the Knights clash with the La Salle Lightning (Union Gap, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Royal will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Lightning go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 81-56 league loss to Wapato (Wapato, WA).
