Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Triton Central Tigers (Fairland, IN) and the host Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN), saw Triton Central's basketball squad hold off Waldron by a tally of 42-35.

With the victory, Triton Central improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Morristown (Morristown, IN) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Morristown won 34-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Southwestern (Shelbyville, IN)

Next up, the Mohawks play the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles (Osgood, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Waldron will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 55-52 league win over Milan (Milan, IN).
