Illinois High School Basketball - Warren Township nudges Waukegan
January 5, 2024: Waukegan, IL 60085 Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL), 66-59 in a league bout.
With the win, Warren Township upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Kenwood (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 7. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Kenwood lost 57-43 in their recent non-league bout against Normal Community (Normal, IL)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) in a North Suburban bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Waukegan will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 73-34 league win over Zion-Benton (Zion, IL).
