Illinois High School Basketball - Waukegan tops Deerfield
December 22, 2023: Deerfield, IL 60015 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL) and the host Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL), saw Waukegan's basketball squad knock off Deerfield by a tally of 63-49.
The Bulldogs now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elgin Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 27. Waukegan will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 54-39 non-league win over Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 6-6.
The Warriors (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Hawks come into the Central Suburban - South battle with a 7-5 record.
