North Carolina High School Basketball - North Lincoln nipped by Hickory

January 5, 2024: Lincolnton, NC 28092

The Hickory Red Tornadoes tipped the host North Lincoln Knights basketball team by a final score of 46-44 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Red Tornadoes face the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a 3A Western Foothills game, on Tuesday, January 9. Hickory will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 8-4 record after their 52-44 league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC).

With the defeat, North Lincoln moves to 9-3 on the year. The Knights host North Iredell (Olin, NC) to face the Raiders in a 3A Western Foothills game on Tuesday, January 9. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 10-2. North Iredell won 52-44 in their recent league game against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC)
