In Tuesday's league outing, the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) basketball squad felled the host North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC), by a margin of 49-37.

The Red Tornadoes (12-8) will now prepare for their outing against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians go into the 3A Western Foothills outing with a 12-8 record. In their last outing, St. Stephens thwarted North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 57-52, in a league outing.

The Raiders now own a 15-6 record. They play next when they travel to Statesville for a 3A Western Foothills outing on Friday, February 9.
