Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC), 64-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Wilson Prep upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Weldon (Weldon, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Pride play the Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. KIPP Pride will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
