January 6, 2023: New Windsor, NY 12553 In Friday's league outing, the Port Jervis Raiders (Port Jervis, NY) basketball squad beat the host Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY), by a count of 52-39.
The Raiders (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Goshen Central (Goshen, NY). The Gladiators go into the Section 9 Orange County III outing with a 5-0 record.
The Dragons now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Bush for a non-league outing on Monday, January 9. Cornwall Central will clash with a Bushmen squad coming off a 71-45 league loss to Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY). The Bushmen record now stands at 0-8.
