The R.J. Reynolds Demons basketball team (Winston-Salem, NC), was nudged 60-53 in Friday's league battle with the visiting East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC)

The Eagles now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Surry for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. East Forsyth will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 59-44 non-league loss to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-3.
