North Carolina High School Basketball - R.J. Reynolds fells Parkland

December 16, 2022: Winston-Salem, NC 27127

R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), 65-53 in a league bout.

With the win, R.J. Reynolds upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Demons travel to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 7-0. North Surry won 75-33 in their recent league bout against Forbush (East Bend, NC)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Parkland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Phoenix go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 70-46 league win over Carver (Winston-Salem, NC).
