Kentucky High School Basketball - Lloyd Memorial overwhelms Holmes
January 6, 2023: Covington, KY 41014 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts (Erlanger, KY) and the host Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY), saw Lloyd Memorial's basketball squad wallop Holmes by a tally of 79-53.
With the victory, Lloyd Memorial improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Juggernauts travel to North Oldham (Goshen, KY) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 12-5.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Scott Eagles (Covington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Holmes will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 78-36 non-league win over Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY).
