Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts (Erlanger, KY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY), 61-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lloyd Memorial upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Juggernauts travel to Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY) to clash with the Colonels in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Colonels go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Covington Catholic won 71-51 in their recent non-league bout against Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY) in a District 33 bout, on Friday, January 20. Cooper will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 74-67 non-league loss to Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY).
