Washington High School Basketball - Kennewick knocked off by Kamiakin
January 6, 2023: Kennewick, WA 99336 The Kamiakin Braves basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Kennewick Lions to 47 in the Braves league triumph on Friday.
The Braves now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walla Walla for a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest on Saturday, January 7. Kamiakin will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 60-59 league loss to Southridge (Kennewick, WA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-5.
The Lions (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Walla Walla (Walla Walla, WA). The Blue Devils enter the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Walla Walla ran past Kamiakin (Kennewick, WA), 67-65, in a league contest.
