The Velma Jackson Falcons basketball team (Camden, MS), was overwhelmed 80-45 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS)

The Jaguars now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton for a 6A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 10.

The Falcons (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Pisgah (Sandhill, MS). The Dragons come into the 2A Region 6 battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Pisgah was overwhelmed by Puckett (Puckett, MS), 62-52, in a league battle.
