Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Seneca Bobcats (Erie, PA) and the visiting Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA), saw Seneca's basketball squad hold off Mercyhurst Prep by a tally of 44-40.

With the victory, Seneca improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Iroquois (Erie, PA) to confront the Braves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10.
