Pittsfield Generals (Pittsfield, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Taconic Braves (Pittsfield, MA), 67-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pittsfield upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Chicopee (Chicopee, MA) to play the Pacers in a Valley Wheel bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Pacers come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Chicopee lost 57-33 in their recent non-league bout against Central (Springfield, MA)

Next up, the Braves play the Longmeadow Lancers (Longmeadow, MA) in a Freelance bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Taconic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Lancers come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 64-58 non-league loss to Chicopee (Chicopee, MA).
