January 6, 2023: Chatham, VA 24531 The Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA), 42-39 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Patrick County was tipped by Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA), 44-33, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Dan River for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10.
